Jim came into the platoon as a sergeant. Jim was injured while leading the platoon out on a sweep. He stepped on a land mine booby trap. He lives with his wife Mary Ellen and they have two daughters and three grandchildren. Jim is currently working as a financial consultant and also as a magistrate (judge). Jim was one of the most respected leaders in the platoon. Jim is pictured here with with an M-16 shortly after joining the platoon.
